Rock in B minor — fingerstyle

Level 4 rock fingerstyle

Bm is a full barre chord: all four left-hand fingers are engaged in the barre and chord shape, unlike the grid's three other chords (G, D, A), each of which leaves one finger free (the index on G, the pinky on D and on A). In fingerstyle, this difference changes nothing on the right hand (the same thumb + index/middle/ring pattern applies to all four chords), but it leaves Bm with no spare finger for a passing note or an improvised ornament.

Tips

Isolate Bm on its own before tackling the full grid: check that all four left-hand fingers hold the barre without excess tension.
On G, D and A, notice which of the four fingers stays free: that's the finger that could add a passing note if you felt like it.
Keep the same right-hand pattern (thumb on the bass, index/middle/ring on the treble strings) across all four chords: nothing changes there, only the left hand is busier on Bm.
