Barre — F sharp minor within an A major progression New
A highly recognisable pop progression (A-E-F#m-D, degrees I-V-vi-IV) where the F#m barre chord is the only non-open link: as with F or Bm in context, the goal is to weave the barre chord in among chords you already know rather than drilling it in isolation.
Tips
The move from the open E to the barred F#m is the hardest part of the loop: slow down just that transition before playing the whole progression back up to tempo.
