Pop in C (with barre) — arpeggios
Picking F note by note rather than strumming it as a block immediately exposes uneven barre pressure: a string that doesn't ring properly stands out right away in an arpeggio, whereas a fast strum can hide it among the others. The other three chords (C, G, Am), being open, don't have this problem.
Tips
Pick F slowly, string by string, listening for whether each one rings fully before moving to the next.
If a string on F sounds muted, adjust the barre finger's angle rather than the overall pressure.
Once F is clean in a slow arpeggio, the catalogue's strummed version of this same grid will get easier: the same barre flaws were simply less audible there.
