C# Major (Db) – Alternating with F# New
First contact with C# major (often written Db): just two barre chords, C# and F#, alternating — the tonic and subdominant, same principle as isolating F or B, applied to a key with no open chords at all.
Tips
F# sits at fret 2, C# at fret 4: the move is short, but the two shapes are different (F# is an F-shape, C# is a B-shape) — don't try to slide the same shape between the two.
