C# Major (Db) – Pop Chord Progression I-V-vi-IV New
A very common pop progression (C#-G#-A#m-F#, degrees I-V-vi-IV) built entirely from barre chords: unlike most keys in the catalog, C# major (often written Db in sheet music) has no open-chord shapes at all — a chance to play a real progression using only barre chords.
Tips
F# and G# share the exact same major barre shape (the F shape), just two frets apart: spotting that link makes the sequence easier, even though C# and A#m each use a different shape.
