Pop in F — chord change
Practice switching between F, C, Dm, Am in this Pop progression. Focus on smooth transitions between chords rather than speed.
Tips
Play each chord for several beats before switching, and only speed up once the transitions feel clean.
Understanding this type of exercise
The C-G-Am-Em pop loop, changes isolated
C-G-Am-Em (I-V-vi-iii) is the quintessential pop loop: four open chords, a soft, wistful colour from the vi and iii, no real resolution. Here you work only the four transitions, no rhythm. C→G keeps the middle and ring finger, Am→Em moves one finger by one string: look for those economies of motion.
