A basic E5-G5-A5 power chord riff, played in tight eighth notes for a rock/metal feel. Power chords have only 2-3 notes and no third, making them easier to switch between than full chords.
Tips
Rest the edge of your picking hand lightly near the bridge (light palm muting) for a tighter sound, even without actively working on it yet.
