Rock in B minor — getting started New

Level 1 rock

A rock progression, Bm-G-D-A (i-VI-III-VII), the same logic as the E minor and A minor versions but with the Bm barre chord as the tonic.

Tips

Check the Bm barre chord's cleanliness by picking each string separately before adding it to the sequence: it's the only real difficulty here, everything else uses open chords you already know.

Chord progression — Bm

Bar 1 Bm i
Bar 2 G VI
Bar 3 D III
Bar 4 A VII

Chords

Suggested next step: Improvisation — rock in B minor
