Rock in A minor (variant) — strumming pattern
Although it shares its key name with the catalogue's other A minor grid, this progression (Am, F, C, G) follows a different degree pattern (i-VI-III-VII, versus i-iv-VII-III for the other one): these aren't two versions of the same thing, but two distinct harmonic loops that only share their starting key. The same i-VI-III-VII pattern turns up transposed in E minor elsewhere in the catalogue.
Tips
If you already know the catalogue's other A minor grid, compare the two by ear: same key, but a clearly different colour.
