Rock in B minor — chord change
This grid (Bm, G, D, A) is the catalogue's third to follow the i-VI-III-VII pattern, after versions in E minor and A minor. The difference lies in the tonic chord: Em and Am are played in open position, while Bm needs a full barre. It's the only one of the three keys where even the grid's very first chord imposes that constraint.
Tips
If you already know one of the catalogue's other two i-VI-III-VII grids (E or A minor), recognise the same degree sequence here, simply transposed.
Isolate Bm on its own before tackling the grid: it's the only barre chord, and it opens every repeat of the loop.
Play each chord for several beats before moving to the next, and only speed up once the sequence is clean.
