Barre — isolating the B major chord New

Level 2 blues

The B barre chord, never isolated on its own in the catalog until now (only B minor was): alternated with the open E chord it is the dominant of, on the same principle as isolating F or Bm.

Tips

B is played across the 5 higher strings, index barring at fret 2: check that the low E string stays muted by the edge of the index finger, or it will ring out of tune on every strum.
