Rapid trill (chained hammer-on/pull-off) New
A pure technical exercise, no chord or scale involved: on the A string, alternate a hammer-on and a pull-off very quickly between two neighbouring frets, in a continuous loop, without picking the string again.
Tips
A trill naturally slows down as the fretting hand tires: practice in short bursts (10-15 seconds) rather than continuously, to keep a constant speed on each attempt.
