Rock improvisation in D (Drop D) New
The D minor pentatonic scale (position 1) works over this entire Drop D grid, built only from power chords (D5d-G5d-E5d): same notes as in standard tuning, only the low E string changes.
Tips
Drop D doesn't change the scale's position on the neck at all: if you already know D minor pentatonic in standard tuning, it plays exactly the same here.
