Metal in F — fingerstyle
F5-C5 forms a I-V: the simplest possible harmonic movement, tonic to dominant, here played as fingerstyle power chords. Unlike the catalogue's power-chord families in E or A (i-III-iv, borrowing darker minor degrees) or even in D (I-IV-V), this is the most stripped-down movement on the whole site: two chords, two degrees, no detour.
Tips
Keep the thumb perfectly steady on the bass notes before worrying about the fingers: it's what holds the whole pattern's tempo.
Compare by ear with the catalogue's version in D (I-IV-V): the movement is a bit longer there, but just as harmonically direct.
This harmonic simplicity is a good chance to focus entirely on thumb precision, with no distraction from an extra chord.
