F5

F5 F5 1 3 4 x x x

Notes: F – C — 1 – 5 (power chord)

F5 sidesteps F major's real problem: the open F major chord demands a full barre from the very first chord you learn, often the first serious hurdle for beginners. F5 is played with two or three fingers and no barre at all — the same shape as the other power chords, just shifted two frets up from E5.

Every sheet in the catalog that uses the F5 chord, across all styles and levels. The same chord comes back in very different contexts — a blues grid, a pop turnaround, an arpeggio sequence: a good way to review it without always playing the same thing.
