Metal in F — muted strums
With only two chords (F5, C5), this grid is, tied with its B cousin in the catalogue, the easiest power-chord family on the site to mute: the palm keeps the same motion over a left-hand vocabulary reduced to a minimum. Unlike B (minor i-iv), the movement here is a major I-V, as direct as it gets.
Tips
If muting is new to you, start on this grid or the B one: both share the same advantage of a two-chord vocabulary.
Focus all your work on the palm: its position needs to stay stable while the fingers slide from one chord to the next.
Once solid here, the catalogue's three-chord grids (E, A, D, G) will demand the same technique, with one more slide.
